Avast! - 2026 Hupstate Circus Festival
A high flying family friendly nautical adventure set on a flying trapeze! Shipwrecked and lost in the middle of the ocean, a lone sailor encounters a rag-tag crew of high-flying, rope-climbing, acrobatic pirates.
Part of the 2026 Hupstate Circus Fest, the only all-circus international performance festival in the US.
This is a FREE outdoor show on the SouthWorks Campus.

Ithaca's MURAL JAM is a free, two-day public art festival that transforms SouthWorks into a vibrant open-air gallery filled with creativity, color, and community connection. Local, regional, and national artists create murals in real time, while visitors explore the site, meet the creators, join in on the community paint wall, enjoy poetry and musical performances, and experience the energy of a thriving community.

Mural Jam
On October 4th and 5th from 11am to 6pm, the community is invited to join 10 local, regional, and national artists at SouthWorks for Ithaca’s inaugural Mural Jam, produced in collaboration with Ithaca Murals. During the event, muralists will complete 10 large-scale original works and lead a variety of hands-on and arts-focused activities, including community paint sessions, mural technique workshops, and artist talks. Open House
On Tuesday, August 12th from 3:00pm-7:00pm, SouthWorks will be hosting its second annual open house, with opportunities for community members to learn about the project, tour the site, and meet incoming businesses. No appointment is necessary, though RSVPs through this form are appreciated. Site tours will run every hour and closed-toed shoes without heels will be required to attend the tour. Former employees are encouraged to sign up to share their stories to help carry the site’s legacy into the future of the campus.
