The Gateway
The Gateway is the primary entry into SouthWorks and offers a taste of what SouthWorks is all about - a welcoming landing spot for residents, visitors and community members. The Gateway includes a dynamic mix of space for a variety of users - culture, commercial and retail - as well as residential and include both adaptive reuse and new construction. It provides open space and serves as a trailhead for the Gateway Trail, the proposed multi-use trail that runs along the northwestern edge of SouthWorks, bridging Six Mile Creek Preserve to the east to Buttermilk Falls State Park to the west.
The Chainway
The Chainway is the heart of SouthWorks’ where buildings full of character will be converted into apartments, work studios, shops and dining. It creates the site’s connective tissue throughout SouthWorks and with the Town and City of Ithaca.
The Hills & The Woods
Apartment living has never seen a view like this. To borrow our local phrase…the view from the Hills and the Woods is gorges! Living at SouthWorks will offer a variety of modern residences for a diversity of households well connected to on site features, amenities, and trails. Natural elements meet modern living in the planned townhomes and apartment residences.
